The exhibition will present authorial ceramics from the foundation of the international art project "Baikal-KeraMistika", created over 5 years of its activity. The exhibition will feature more than 150 works of clay, chamotte, porcelain, small and large sculptures, abstract objects, ceramics combined with metal, and much more.
At the opening, there will be a presentation of porcelain jewelry. During the exhibition, several workshops on pottery and modeling, lectures on the history of ceramics, and guided tours of the exhibition by the organizers will be held.
Baikal-KeraMistika is a unique author’s project that brings together masters from around the world on the island of Olkhon. For five years, about 90 professional artists from 18 cities of Russia and 13 countries took part in it. The art fund of the project has collected about 150 works of ceramics created in different techniques, genres and traditions during the summer symposiums on Lake Baikal.
In 2017, the first winter session of the symposium was held. It was attended by 20 professional artists of different areas of art: ceramics, painting, graphics, design. The result of this work can also be seen at an exhibition in the Gallery of Siberian Art.
