Active citizens choose events for city cinemas Automatic translate
Family leisure, meeting friends or a romantic date - all this can be arranged at the cinema. To diversify the pastime of Muscovite moviegoers decided in the Moskino network. What is new to add to the program of work of institutions, active citizens will decide.
City cinemas are a special atmosphere of cozy halls and warm memories of childhood. Many Muscovites visited Cosmos and Saturn, Pennant and Birch, while still walking hand in hand with their parents, grandparents. Moskino, together with the Active Citizen project, offers to breathe new life into places familiar to us from an early age.
Voters will determine which events will be included in the cinema work plan. Among the possible options, everyone will find something interesting. Those who want to catch all the nuances of the author’s dialogs will be able to vote for the screenings of paintings in the original language. Meetings with directors, actors and producers can be chosen by loyal fans of their work, and lectures and discussions will be interesting to true connoisseurs of cinema. There is also an option for the smallest in the list - special children’s sessions. And of course, free movie screenings! Muscovites can also offer their ideas.
“The advantage is always in a busy program. I think the more there will be club communication, discussions, discussions around the paintings, the more interesting it is for the viewer, ”says director and screenwriter Boris Grachevsky.
Active citizens will choose events for the cinemas that they themselves attend, love and know - in the proposed list, you can select up to three addresses. By participating in the vote, everyone will be able to create a comfortable venue for family weekends and romantic evenings.

The opinion of experts:
Ivan Raspopov, Host of the Poster Program on the Moscow 24 TV Channel
Film screenings in the original language with subtitles are a great opportunity for those who learn foreign languages and who want to hear how DiCaprio or Belmondo really speak.
Of course, meetings with directors, actors, producers will be interesting. I think it is possible to combine meetings with discussions of films, when the authors of the picture present their film, and after the film they discuss that they understood that the audience did not understand what kind of feedback and comments the audience gathered.
I consider the educational program for children to be very important. I don’t know how this will be carried out, but it would be nice if, before showing the children, they explain that, how and on what material the film is based, and why it has become a cinematic value, and after watching it will collect opinions from a young or teenage audience and hold discussions. I think this is an interesting and important thing that can involve the younger generation in film processes and show them the correct guidelines in this endless movie sea.
Elena Chernova, Director of animated films, artistic director of the Rikki group of companies and commercial projects of Soyuzmultfilm studio, teacher at the Shar School Studio and Scream School
I really like all the options. Everything related to children and meetings with the filmmakers is very cool. If, for example, you run programs for different ages and invite filmmakers, then you can spend a lot of fun. I am an animator, so I’ll talk about animated films. I have a puppet film and in meetings with the audience I show dolls that starred in the film. It is always interesting, especially for children. People are curious to learn the features and details of creating animated films. Cinemas will be closer to the viewer if you arrange such meetings. And I always with both hands for free film screenings, because there should be some pleasant opportunity for those who can’t go to a paid movie show.
Roman Grigoryev, Film critic and radio host Moscow FM
It is great that the viewer is invited to draw up a program, but in addition to the viewer, you need to listen to the market trends and know his work. For example, screenings of arthouse films, experimental and festival works have recently attracted more and more viewers. Such films do not always immediately give an idea of what you saw and what is the background. It is here that the discussion in the format of the cinema club will be very successful. Meetings with the viewer - why not, if the director himself is interested? If the director is cool, and people want to know something from him, then there will always be a bunch of questions for him: why is this done? What did he want to say with his film? This will gather additional people, more tickets will be sold for the show.
Fans of the original sound of the film, even I do not quite understand, this is some refined shine and chic. Perhaps someone likes the actor so much that he wants to hear his voice, but if the main tracks were not strangled in the voice acting and the actors have intonations, then I don’t need captions, because it’s not convenient to climb my eyes all the time on the screen. In addition, there are such films where there is a lot of text and, if it’s all read, then you can just go crazy. The theme with festivals seems very interesting to me, because now there are very few venues for festival films.
Svyatoslav Ushakov, director, animator, animator, screenwriter, winner of many prizes at international festivals
A very useful and correct thing is to show foreign classics in the original language, because the translation kills the sound of the film. In my opinion, 95% of the dubbing is disgusting, even if the dubbing is good, the actors still do not convey those intonations. The original will always remain the original. Free film screenings will be interesting, because not every family can afford to go to all the films they like. In Moscow, there are people who do not have a large income, a modest family budget, and so for someone it will be possible to see without limitations all that is interesting. I think this is a very useful thing for film propaganda. After watching the movie, it will be interesting for people to express their opinion, to participate in the discussion. I think this is also a good idea. As for children’s films, they are already shown a lot, and Muscovites usually go with their families to watch them.
Lyudmila Dronova, Soloist of the CoffeetimeBand group, participant of the Moscow Talents project
It would be great to see modern films in the Moskino cinemas. It is very interesting to get acquainted with the work of young directors, to see new thinking and worldview. As a rule, it is very difficult for young talents to get into wide distribution, and if the Active Citizen project contributes to this, film enthusiasts and film creators will appreciate it.
