Action "Night of Theaters" at the Museum of Moscow Automatic translate

On March 27, the traditional action "Night of Theaters" will take place in Moscow, in which the Museum of Moscow will also take part. The program includes: a multimedia concert, a public talk with theater directors and two performances in the exhibition spaces "VKHUTEMAS 100. School of the Avant-garde" and "Museum of Self-Isolation" under the direction of Marina Brusnikina, artistic director of the Praktika Theater. Admission is free upon registration.

At 21:00 in the second building of the Museum of Moscow, the first event "Theater Nights" will begin - a public talk dedicated to museum and theater cooperation. Theatrical director Yuri Kvyatkovsky, artist Ksenia Peretrukhina, artist Alexei Tregubov and director Maxim Didenko are participating. The conversation is moderated by music critic Anton Flerov.

At 22:30, guests will see a multimedia musical project by Russian composers Nikolai Popov and Alexander Khubeev "Biomechanics". The peculiarity of the concert lies in the interaction of traditional instruments with various media - electronics, video and light. The performers themselves play an unusual role, playing on various objects and specially created instruments. Along with works by Popov and Khubeev, works by leading Russian and foreign composers working in the field of electroacoustic music and multimedia will also be performed. The project is dedicated to the author’s concept of biomechanics by the avant-garde director Vsevolod Meyerhold.

At midnight, the voices of the era will sound in the space of the VKHUTEMAS 100. School of the Avant-garde exhibition: actors of the Brusnikin Workshop will recite poems by Velimir Khlebnikov, Vladimir Mayakovsky and other famous poets of the Russian avant-garde in the performance “With Comrade”.

The Night of Theaters will end with a performance at the Museum of Self-Isolation at 01:00. The stories of Muscovites will be performed by actors from the Praktika Theater and Brusnikin’s Workshop. They will read texts about breakups, sudden layoffs, disappointments and the joys of self-isolation.
