Bema Award! announced the winners Automatic translate
The international festival of event marketing and communications Best Experience Marketing Awards recently ended. Over three days in February from the 13th to the 15th, more than 3,000 specialists from the field of event marketing and integrated communications were able to not only discuss the latest trends in the industry, but also congratulate the winners of the annual, prestigious bema award! 2020.
Participants summed up the results of the previous year, noted the most outstanding programs, and shared personal cases and examples of their own work. As part of the business program, more than 30 specialists and event marketing professionals gave seminars, reports and presentations.
The main event of the festival was the awards ceremony for the winners of bema! – a prize awarded to leading specialists from among those nominated for the competition. This year the number of applications exceeded 400, and in total awards were presented in 30 categories.
“We always rely on the experience of the expert council, which objectively evaluates the nominees,” notes festival director Ilya Gorbachev. “Only a true professional, who personally knows how and what is happening in our industry, will be able to evaluate other similar professionals.”
Among the winners: SAP NOW, “We are Siberia”, Dobroshrift, GrelkaFest and others.
“The determination of the winners was generally simple, since the organizers thought through clear mechanics and a point system,” says Roman Tovstik, a member of the expert council. “We had to strictly follow the protocol. Although sometimes I had to think about it, because even one point could decide someone’s fate. In difficult moments of choice, I was guided only by my own inner feeling of whether I liked it or not, since rational criteria of efficiency, clarity and others will not help here.”
Oleg Kryuchkov, head of the EventPlatform platform, through which the expert commission voted, also notes that in general, all nominations had their own selection criteria and were assessed differently. The maximum possible score given by members of the expert commission ranged from 21 to 36 points in each nomination.
The organizers note that many participants regularly apply for the bema! And they almost always win in one category or another. But this does not mean that newcomers to the industry cannot receive their awards. On the contrary, they have more chances to stand out and show themselves.
