New Yorkers will be able to attend MoMA PS1 for free all year Automatic translate
NEW YORK. The exhibition complex MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) PS1 on Long Island invited New Yorkers to attend exhibitions in Queens for free for a whole year starting on October 11. The campaign was made possible thanks to a grant from the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Foundation.
The grant was awarded to the MoMA PS1 in order to help the museum in its outreach activities. Thanks to the grant, the museum "is able to provide open access to its exhibitions for all New Yorkers, regardless of their solvency," - said in an official statement MoMA PS1.
In normal times, a ticket to the museum for an adult costs $ 10, for pensioners and students - $ 5, children under 16 can visit the museum for free.
Residents who wish to attend exhibitions at MoMA PS1 will need to provide evidence of their stay in New York (licenses, driver’s licenses, utility bills).
