The story of Peter Pan again on the stage of the Yaroslavl Puppet Theater Automatic translate
YAROSLAVL. The repertoire of the Yaroslavl Puppet Theater reappeared a play telling about a boy who did not want to grow up. The premiere of the new version of the play “Peter Pan”, staged by director Alexei Smirnov, took place on October 21 and was enthusiastically received by all viewers - young and adults.
This wonderful fairy tale, invented 110 years ago by the English writer James Barry, often attracts the attention of directors who stage performances for young viewers. The story of a boy living with lost children on a magical island is already familiar to Yaroslavl viewers. In 2008, she successfully went to the puppet theater.
This year, Alexei Smirnov decided to give the audience a magical world again, filled with the fantasies of Peter Pan. The director wrote his own stage version of the tale of James Barry, and for the production he animated wonderful dolls created for the previous production by Elena Beresneva on the stage of the theater.
New scenery appeared in the play, and Igor Myzovsky, a lighting designer, with the help of the video installations he created, helped the director realize the fantastic world of Peter Pan on stage. However, the performance would not have become so attractive to the audience if the director had not managed to endow each of the characters with vivid characters.
Alexey Smirnov has the education of a child psychologist, which greatly helped him in his work on the play. The director believes that children’s performances are necessary not only for children. Children usually come to the theater with their parents, so each production they saw should be an occasion for communication.
Only then will conflicts of children and adults be successfully resolved in the family, since child cruelty to parents in children is manifested unconsciously. Only communication can alleviate this problem.
