This tour, which took place as part of an action called the Young Art Theater of Siberia, was made possible thanks to the support provided by the Volnoe Delo Foundation, headed by Oleg Deripaska, and En + Group. Representatives of the Moscow Art Theater participate in Siberian tours for the second time. However, last year they were students, then the young Moscow Art Theater conducts the current tour already in the status of professionals.

The guest performances in Irkutsk, which took place starting July 11, were presented at the Youth Theater for three evenings. At the same time, the Moscow Art Theater became participants in the Cultural Capital festival, held on the initiative of EuroSibEnergo. The audience saw the performances - “Do not part with your loved ones”, “Platonov. The first meeting ”, and in conclusion, the guests of Irkutsk showed the composition“ Modern Concert ”, which tells the history of the 20th century with musical hits.

The next cities where the participants of the tour will come will be Divnogorsk, where spectators will meet on July 17 with artists at DC Energia, and Krasnoyarsk on July 18. In these cities, viewers will see the “Class Concert”, and in Krasnoyarsk there’s also a play by Alexander Volodin.
