The older generation of theatergoers remembers which famous artists played roles in the "Old-Fashioned Comedy", on the stages of which theaters they shone.

This time, "Old Fashioned Comedy" became the benefit of Era Ziganshina, an outstanding St. Petersburg actress. Era Garafovna herself suggested that the theater management play the role of an eccentric circus cashier who came to rest in a sanatorium.
