VOGDA. Today in Vologda, the 6th International Festival of Young European Cinema VOICES (Vologda Independent Cinema from European Screens) was closed. As Kravchik himself noted, all members of the jury found this picture inventive and extremely cheerful. In the center of the plot of the winner’s tape is a story about a carefree film expert who went to Lisbon in search of a girlfriend who cheated on him.

The prize for the best directorial work went to the director of the German film “We are Young. We are strong ”Burhan Kurbani. Carmine Barrios, who starred in the Spanish film Carmina and Amen, was recognized as the best actor in the jury. The Audience Award of the film festival was awarded to the Russian film “14+” by Andrey Zaitsev. It is noteworthy that shortly before this film received a similar award at the 26th Kinotavr. In addition, diplomas for the best acting were received by Gleb Kalyuzhny and Ulyana Vaskovich, who played the main roles in this film. Also, the Monument to Michael Jackson by the Serbian filmmaker Darko Lungulov was awarded with a diploma for the best script.

The festival was held from July 3 to 6, inclusive. The last day was reserved for the screenings of films-winners of the film forum.
