The film is a joint work of Norwegian, Armenian and German filmmakers.
The film “My Love - Moskvich”, directed by Aram Shahbazyan from Armenia, was awarded the honorary prize of the International Film Press Association. The film tells the story of an old farmer who had dreamed all his life to buy a Moskvich car, which he could not get in the Soviet years. In the new nomination "Spectator Sympathy" the winner was the film "Shrine" by the German director Mark Brumund.
In total, within the framework of various programs, about 200 paintings were presented to the audience. Among them, the international jury identified several works that were not included in the main competition, but were remembered for their content. This is the film “Taxi” by Iranian director Jafar Panahi, the owner of the “Golden Bear” and the film “The Bridge to the Border” by Rob Nilsson.
It should be noted that the Golden Apricot International Film Festival has been held in Yerevan annually since 2004. During this time, the film forum managed to become one of the most prestigious cinema events in the region.
