At the Samara Drama Theater, the premiere of the play "There Was War Tomorrow" Automatic translate
SAMARA. The audience of the Samara Drama Theater warmly received the premiere of a staging of the famous novel by Boris Vasiliev presented on May 7. The play “Tomorrow was the War” was staged by a creative duet - Valery Grishko, the main director of the theater, and teacher Elena Lazareva.
The premiere performance includes not only well-known drama theater artists from Samara theater, but also young actors who graduated from Nayanova University in 1012. The head of their course was Vyacheslav Gvozdkov. The second-year students of this university were also included in the composition of the performance.
A major role in the success of the play was played by its musical design. At a press conference on May 5, Valery Grishko talked about how he thought for a long time what the musical component of the performance should be. Initially, it occurred to me to use front-line songs. However, the author’s songs accidentally heard by the Irkutsk composer Andrei Volchenkov suggested a different solution to the director.
Specially for the play, Andrei Volchenkov created eight songs in which verses of young poets who did not return from the war were sounded. Compositions were created on poems written before the war by Pavel Kogan and Mikhail Kulchinsky. In these verses of the pre-war era, poets dreamed of the future, not suspecting that their life would be so short. Songs intended for the performance were performed by artist Igor Sklyar. Everyone could buy a CD with these songs before the performance.
In a dramatization written and directed by Valery Grishko, episodes appeared that are not in Vasiliev’s novel. They were created during rehearsals. In the finale of the play, a screen appears above the stage where photographs of front-line soldiers are shown. These are the fathers and grandfathers of the creators of the play.
