KRASNOYARSK. The long-awaited event, expected by the Krasnoyarsk theater-goers for three years, has taken place. After a large-scale reconstruction, the Drama Theater named after Pushkin. Spectators who managed to get to the grand opening of the renovated theater did not hide their admiration for the skill of builders and restorers.

The most difficult task was set for the masters - having returned the building to its historical appearance, at the same time create a modern stage in it, allowing to realize almost any creative idea of ​​the creators of the performances. Now the smooth and static scene has turned into a set of movable sections moving in height. Not only the scene is moving - spotlights and acoustics also have many operating modes.

To show the first guests of the theater all the possibilities of the new stage equipment, a special script of the evening was written. Its authors, telling the story of the drama theater, which has existed for almost a century and a half, amazed the imagination with light projections in 3D-format, as well as original sound effects.

According to Dmitry Zimenko, a lighting designer, the new lighting equipment allows the use of dynamic light in performances. This provides unique opportunities for staging performances. In the festive production there was a place for a story about reconstruction.

So far, only the first, main part of the reconstruction has been completed. The building became more convenient for everyone - the artists got a modern stage, which increased in size, and the audience came to the amazingly beautiful hall, received new dressing rooms located in the basement. In the future, two production buildings will appear nearby.

Viewers will see the first performance on February 27th. Artists will present the premiere - "Twelfth Night" from Shakespeare and director Oleg Rybkin.
