In BDT showed the first premiere - the play "From the life of puppets" Automatic translate
ST. PETERSBURG. The famous BDT building is again waiting for its fans. Old performances are returning to their native stage, and the theater plans to please the audience as soon as possible with premieres on the updated stage. The first premiere of the season was presented to the audience on October 12-13 on the small stage of the Bolshoi Drama Theater.
The basis of the premiere performance was the story told by the famous Swedish author Ingmar Bergman, known as "From the Life of Puppets." The script written by Bergman became widely known after his film adaptation, which appeared on the screens in 1980. The director of the film was the author himself.
In BDT, the Polish director Andrzej Buben worked on the play. With full justification, Andrzej can be called a Russian director, since he is very active on the Russian stage. The profession of director Andrzej Buben received at the St. Petersburg Theater Academy, and became known thanks to a long collaboration with the writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya. She believes that it is Andrzej Buben who most adequately embodies her prose on the stage.
In the creative luggage of Andrzej Buben there is experience in the BDT. He staged two plays here - the Shakespearean play "Measure for Measure" and the production of Mrozhek’s "Walk". However, the great success of his work was not marked. The new work of the Polish director was an obvious success. Buben explained his appeal to the work of Bergman by the fact that the theme of the play is relevant, and the material is unique to the actors.
In his play, Bergman shows the loneliness of people deprived of love, where they get anger and denial of moral laws, asking the eternal question - how to make the world a better and more harmonious place. The lead actor in the play is artist Dmitry Vorobyov, winner of many prestigious theater awards. He plays for the first time in the BDT theater.
