KRASNODAR. The Krasnodar Musical Theater has a tradition - on the day of the opening of the new season, viewers will definitely be shown a performance of the most beautiful musical genre, which has many fans - the operetta. The theater staff didn’t change the long tradition at the beginning of their 81st season, inviting the audience to plunge into the carnival world of the fiery operetta “Night in Venice”, directed by director Alexander Matsko.

A new chief director, Victor Olin, has appeared in the Musical Theater of Krasnodar. He received a musical education at the Ural Conservatory named after Mussorgsky. After her graduation, he worked as a conductor in several groups - in the Udmurt Republic Symphony Orchestra, in the Musical Theater of Omsk, in the operetta of the city of Zheleznogorsk. Since 2010 - conductor of the Sverdlovsk Musical Comedy. On the opening day of the season, on August 10, before the start of the performance, Victor Olin was presented to Krasnodar spectators.

Alexander Matsko, who is in one person, and the main director of the theater, and his choreographer, said that for the new season in the theater it is planned to show the audience several premieres. The opera The Barber of Seville, the modern ballet Anna Karenina and the operetta Bayadera are being prepared. The first month of the season will be dedicated to showing the public the most beloved productions.

Then the audience saw Strauss’ remarkable operetta, in which the composer used not only the rhythms of the Viennese waltz that were familiar to him, but also melodies similar in rhythm to Italian music. The content of the operetta “Night in Venice” is a comedy of the provisions. The magnificent voices of the leading theater artists who play the main roles in the operetta, complemented by their wonderful play, create a festive atmosphere of a real Venetian carnival.
