The festival program has several sections. One of the main ones is the Competition program, in which eight performances will take part. For their selection, the Expert Council watched 70 performances staged by theaters from various Russian regions. The show featured performances created in the last theater season.

Theater Center Chekhov from Sakhalin, whose actors were entrusted with the opening of the festival program, participates in the festival for the first time. The winner of the competition program will receive the Grand Prix - the Harlequin figurine. A substantial material reward will also be attached to the figurine - 300 thousand rubles, intended for a new production in the winning theater. The new work will take part in the festival program next year.

In the non-competitive program, the theaters of the festival hosts, Nizhny Novgorod, Petrozavodsk and Moscow will show their performances for the young generation of spectators. Most of the performances participating in the festival program are the work of young directors. According to theater experts, the Harlequin project has significantly improved the artistic level of performances intended for young theatergoers.

In the special part of the festival, the final of the creative laboratory is planned. Six applications were accepted to the final of the laboratory “Young Directors for Children”. The winner will have the opportunity to stage his performance in one of the Russian theaters.

The festival program will run through April 29th.
