MOSCOW. In the repertoire of the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov appeared a play staged by director Gleb Cherepanov based on the novel by Patrick Suskind, the famous German screenwriter. This topic intersects another, no less important one - the story of a man whose life is filled with unrequited love - for the profession, music, woman.

According to Konstantin Khabensky, his hero, a lonely man, ridiculous and sad clown. To play such a role is always the dream of every actor. A musician who dreamed of a violinist’s career made friends with the double bass for his whole life. This instrument replaced him with the whole outside world, from which the hero hid in a room where even sounds penetrate with difficulty - the walls are covered with old mattresses. In his monologues, the hero moves from madness to lyrics.

Khabensky had long dreamed of working with a play. Now that the performance has already begun its life, the actor says that the production will still be corrected, starting from the reaction of the audience, since I want it to affect everyone sitting in the hall.
