Plastic performance "Flock of birds" Automatic translate

MOSCOW. February 26, 2014 at 20.00 on the theater stage of the project "Open Stage" will be shown a plastic play "A flock of birds" based on the work of Tonino Guerra "One Hundred Birds" Production and choreography by Antonina Krasnova, music by Yan Thiersen and Ryuiti Sakamoto and others, music design by Vladimir Kai and Richard Norvila, video design by Andrey Bykov and Yuri Skirda, performers Evgenia Dolgalyova, Evgenia Andrianova and Pavel Zhukov.

The plastic play The Flock of Birds, based on the story of Tonino Guerra’s One Hundred Birds, is a translation of the complex symbolic text of the famous writer and thinker of our time into the language of plastic. Only three characters are involved in the play: he, she (husband and wife) and the third, who is not so much a character as a metaphor, the embodiment of elements and chaos. A flock of birds is an attempt to talk about a person’s complex inner world, about the images that fill him, to create an atmosphere that matches his feelings from what he experienced in real life. It is so difficult to understand any person in whose head thoughts scatter like a flock of birds in different directions.

“The delivery initiative for the novel“ One Hundred Birds ”by Tonino Guerra belongs to the actors who participated in the Laboratory of Modern Choreography. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that the plot canvas slips among the thoughts, paintings and visions of the author. And this story contains a certain secret that I would like to solve. It seemed to us that dance is that space where there is an opportunity to come into contact with this mystery, ”says choreographer Antonina Krasnova about the performance.

Guerra himself believed that Antonina Krasnova was able to accurately translate his literature into the language of modern choreography. He welcomed the release of the play and invited the troupe of the theater to a festival dedicated to the celebration of its 90th anniversary.

Tonino Guerra, an Italian poet, thinker, writer and screenwriter, wrote scripts for such outstanding filmmakers as Federico Fellini, Michelangelo Antonioni, Andrei Tarkovsky, Francesco Rosi and Theo Angelopoulos. He was friends with George Danelia, Yuri Lyubimov, Alexander Brunkovsky, Bella Akhmadulina.

Antonina Krasnova - choreographer, director, teacher of modern dance and modern choreography. Choreographer-director of the productions of the dance performance The Flock of Birds with the support of the T. Guerra Foundation, the dance plays The Unfinished Journey, Amsterdam; performances - “Bolero”, “Bullfight”. As a choreographer, she released such works as the feature film Desert, Sad Joy based on the poetry of F.G. Lorca (creative association "Diaghilev Center"), the play "Phoenix and the Pigeon" (directed by E. Van Grotel, Russian-Dutch project), the musical "Blinded" (directed by P. Bobrov).
