The project "Living Theater - a living author" - an experiment to create a play Automatic translate

YEKATERINBURG. In the evening, on August 16, the actor’s House will summarize one of the stages of the drama laboratory in Yekaterinburg. The project, called "Living Theater - a living author", is a joint work of the local Youth Theater and the Moscow creative association KultProekt.

As part of this project, it is planned to create an experimental performance based on the stories of city residents. For more than a week, participants in the drama laboratory - playwrights and actors with voice recorders roamed the streets of the city, entering into conversations with local residents. They searched for interesting characters, interviewed them, and recorded their conversations and arguments.

From the collected "life pictures", the playwrights had to create a full-fledged theatrical production - a play that would actually be written by the residents of the city, because all the conversations of the townspeople will be presented in the performance while preserving the characteristics of the speech of each of them.

In an interview with press representatives, the executive director of the creative laboratory, Olga Andreeva, said that they agreed to meet with some of the heroes of the future performance in advance, talked to some on the street, but without notice of recording their conversations. It is possible that some viewers who came to the performance recognize themselves in one of the characters in the production.

In street conversations, laboratory participants constantly touched on relevant topics related to the city. It turned out that people living in Yekaterinburg are very attached to him, and most of them are not going to leave anywhere. On August 16th a reading and discussion of a sketch of a future performance will take place, the premiere of which is scheduled for September 5th. The public will participate in the discussion of the sketch of the performance.
