Yevgeny Kolobov, in whose honor this festival is held, spoke about Verdi that this is the most mysterious composer known in the world. His music is outwardly simple, but its depth of meaning and emotionality is inexhaustible. The composer’s work was highly appreciated by the conductor.
During the festival "Epiphany Week", which will not be limited to the term indicated in its name, but will continue until the last January day, Verdi’s works of different periods of his life will be presented. On the first day of the festival, the premiere will be presented to the audience - the opera Troubadour, which was staged by Italian director Marco Gandini. The set designer and costume designer also came from Italy to stage the play. They were Italo Grassi and Simone Morezzi, with experience in the most famous theaters in the world.
