Festival performances will also be shown at the Rusich Culture Center and at the Scientific and Cultural Center of the Writer’s Museum. The theater program is attended by well-known Russian theater groups and two theaters, who came from abroad - Germany and Serbia. Viewers will see not only classic chamber productions of plays based on the works of Fyodor Dostoevsky, but also experimental performances.
The theater from Serbia brought the performance “Netochka Nezvanova” to the festival, artists from Berlin will show “Dreams of Nastasya Filippovna”. Theater Studio "Harlequin", a representative of the Penza region will present to the audience its variations on the theme of Dostoevsky’s works - "Crime without punishment."
Each of the festivals held is necessarily dedicated to the birthday of Dostoevsky. So this time, on November 11, events dedicated to the memory of the great writer will be held in Staraya Russa, which will be the end of the festival events, summing up and rewarding the participants.
