Theater from St. Petersburg "Pushkin School" ends its tour in Vologda Automatic translate
Tonight, October 25, with the performance “Woe from Wit” on the stage of the House of Culture of the City of Vologda, the Pushkinskaya Shkola School and Theater Studio ends its weekly tour. For a tour organized in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the Pushkin Theater Center, located in St. Petersburg, of which the Studio Theater is a part, the actors managed to show their skills in two cities - Vologda and Cherepovets.
Two performances, out of three, brought by the students for showing to Vologda viewers, were staged by the creator and art director of the Pushkin School, People’s Artist Vladimir Receptor. This is Griboedov’s immortal comedy “Woe from Wit” and the play staged according to “Little Tragedies” by Alexander Pushkin - “Don Guan and Others”. The third gift to the audience from the theater was one of the best plays of the world theater repertoire - “Cunning and Love” by Friedrich Schiller, staged by director Ivan Stavisky.
The theater "Pushkin School" owes its creation to Vladimir Emanuilovich Receptor. Heading the Pushkin Theater Center, the Receptor in 2001 scored a course at the Theater Academy of St. Petersburg. After graduation, the graduates of the course became actors of the new, created by the master of the theater. Young actors got a unique opportunity to play excellent roles in classical performances, and not wait for their chance, as is often the case with novice artists who sometimes wait for his whole life.
The troupe of the theater participated in almost all of Pushkin’s international projects held over the six years since the foundation of the theater. The actors visited with their performances at international theater festivals, where their work was appreciated by the audience.
