The competition for the title of the best reader in Russia was organized last year in connection with the visit to the library named after S. Marshak Albert Likhanov. Then he told the library staff and guests about the book “Rules of Life” by Janusz Korczak and recommended that young readers pay special attention to this work. Likhanov also donated to the funds of 33 children’s and 20 municipal libraries of Komi 60 copies of this book. "Rules of Life" became the basis for an in absentia conference dedicated to Janusz Korczak.
During the conference, schoolchildren wrote essays and essays based on the book by Korczak. The work of Ulyana Ivakina, the jury recognized as the best among all.
