The start of the sixth season of the competition "New children’s book" Automatic translate

MOSCOW. The organizers of the annual competition in the field of literature for children and adolescents announced the start of a new season of the “New Children’s Book”, the event is supported by the Rosman Publishing House. Acceptance of entries will begin on December 1, 2014 and will last until April 1, 2015. All Russian-speaking authors from any country in the world who write books for children and adolescents will be able to try their hand in the struggle for a prestigious literary award.

The New Children’s Book Prizes will be awarded in two main categories - Children’s Poems and Tales (works of art for children 2–8 years old) and The World of Fantasy (works aimed at children from 10 to 16 years old). Also this year, a new nomination called “New Children’s Illustration” was introduced (illustrations for works aimed at children 2-12 years old).

According to the statement of the contest organizers, the shortlist of nominees will be published by June 1, 2015. In each of the three categories of the award will be presented no more than 10 works of the contest participants. The jury of the New Children’s Book is very impressive - children’s writer, member of the Union of Russian Writers Marina Moskvina, science fiction writer Mikhail Yasnov, poet Dmitry Emets, writer and member of the Russian Television Academy Natalia Kochetkova, chairman of the "Book Graphics" section of the Moscow Union of Artists Anastasia Arkhipova, translator and children’s writer Andrei Maksimov and other no less eminent literary scholars and writers of Russia.
