The main theme in the work of Dorzhiev is the images of the Great Steppe and the nomad, which became for the artist a symbol of distant contemplation of the world.

Pictures painted by Dorzhiev attract the audience. When viewing the exposition, the audience lingers for a long time near each work. Before the opening of the exhibition, the artist and an interview with reporters, telling about his participation in making films, about cooperation with Sergei Bodrov Sr. when shooting the film "Mongol".

The path to the profession of an artist with Zorikto Dorzhiev began with his studies at the Buryatia art school. Then followed a study at the Krasnoyarsk Art Institute, graduated with honors in 2002. Behind the artist’s internship in the workshops of the Academy of Arts. In his creative luggage, a considerable number of personal exhibitions held in Russian and foreign museums.

The exhibition "Steppe History" is open until April 8.
