YEKATERINBURG. The artist’s house celebrates the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the famous house of creativity, operating in the Moscow Region since 1947, with a large-scale exhibition. The creative cottage “Chelyuskinskaya” has become for many famous artists a place where they got the opportunity to communicate with colleagues, showing their work to recognized masters.

They came to the house of creativity for two months, devoting all the time allotted to the creation of new works. The artists had no need to take care of life, therefore, nothing prevented the implementation of the creative ideas of each of them. The Chelyuskinskaya House of Creativity consisted of two buildings that accommodated about 50 people during the race.

In addition to residential premises, workshops were located in these houses, where equipment for creating etchings, lithographs, and engravings was placed. Recognized graphic artists came here willingly. The presence of the titles of "honored" and "folk" artists did not interfere with the communication of the masters with the young creators who adopted their experience.

At the end of each race, a large exhibition was held, as a result of which the best works participated in events of a national scale. Many Sverdlovsk artists, whose works are included in the anniversary exhibition that opened on September 20, recall the creative atmosphere of the Chelyuskinskaya dacha.

Having been in this magnificent place, they got a huge creative potential that determined their future life. The unique exhibition, which opened in Yekaterinburg, brought together 50 graphic works by masters who visited the Chelyuskinskaya dacha at different periods of their work.

The exhibition presents the works of famous artists whose works are now in the largest Russian museums.

The exhibition is open until October 20.
