ANGLE. Last weekend in Uglich celebrated City Day. The opening of the personal exhibition of the Watercolor Master Tatyana Petrova was timed to coincide with this holiday in the art museum. The exhibition, for which the artist selected the best watercolor works of different years, is located in the exhibition hall of the Uglich Kremlin, where the City Duma was previously located.
Until August 1, visitors to the exhibition will be delighted with watercolors by Tatyana Albertovna, the creation of which the artist devoted almost forty years of her life. All the years Tatyana Petrova remained faithful to the watercolor technique. Her works show landscapes painted by the artist in the upper Volga, the favorite corners of the streets of Uglich, filled with peace and quiet.
Bouquets of wildflowers, lovingly depicted in Tatyana Albertovna’s watercolors, add an exposition of lyrical mood. Cornflowers, daisies, bells - a whole field of wildflowers blossomed in the numerous watercolor works created by the artist during the time devoted to art.
Tatyana Albertovna is not only an artist, but also a teacher. For more than twenty years she worked as a teacher at the Uglich School of Art. For the next 14 years, the artist headed the Aquarelle studio, where she taught children the basics of drawing and painting.
She constantly organized exhibitions of the creativity of her students, trying to give them the opportunity to present their work in public. For 19 years, Tatyana Petrova’s students were participants in the Rainbow Festival. The displays of their work have always been successful. On the account of the artist herself is also a substantial number of exhibitions. More than 50 times she presented her work on Russian soil and abroad. Tatyana Albertovna constantly gives her works to friends, so her own collection is small.
