Famous artist Leonid Kilchansky presented a solo exhibition "Only painting" on his anniversary Automatic translate
BLAGOVESCHENSK. Leonid Kilchansky, a well-known Amur painter, presented his work at a personal exhibition that opened on May 13 at the museum of local lore. The exhibition, received from the author the name "Only painting", is dedicated to the artist’s birthday. The artist has already turned such a kind of report on his work into tradition, opening a personal exhibition on his own birthday.
The new exhibition has become a jubilee - Leonid Valerievich celebrates his fiftieth anniversary. Not only colleagues, friends and relatives came to congratulate the painter on his jubilee. Leonid Kilchansky has many admirers among art connoisseurs who also attended the opening of the exhibition in order to congratulate the hero of the day with his recently received title - the artist became an honorary academician of the Russian Academy of Arts.
The painter himself believes that receiving such an honorary title complicated the process of creativity, since he had even more responsibility for the quality of his works. However, the works of Leonid Kilchansky are always highly appreciated at all exhibitions where the artist presents his canvases. Museums and collectors often purchase them. Leonid Valerievich willingly shares his knowledge, engaged in teaching activities. In 2015, he became a professor at the University of the Chinese city of Heihe.
To create an exhibition, the artist selected works written by him over the past fifteen years. Together with the works provided by the museum staff from its fund, the exhibition included about twenty paintings. Visitors to the exhibition will see several paintings placed in the exhibition hall for the first time. The artist finished them in the current year 2016, so their display at the exhibition can be called the premiere for the paintings “Winter Park”, “Bouquet” and “There is only a moment…”.
