“Temple in Art” - under this name, visitors are presented the first of the sections of the exhibition, which contains paintings and drawings by famous domestic artists. This section includes the works of such illustrious artists as A. Lentulov, E. Moiseenko, V. Stozharov, N. Tretyakov, M. Paradise, G. Baimukhanov.

Each of the works included in the exposition displays images of church architecture captured by artists in pictorial and graphic paintings. Next to them are works belonging to artists of other regional schools, also depicting monuments of temple architecture.

The “Art in the Temple” section enables museum visitors to travel to the world of art that fills Orthodox churches. In this section, museum staff collected icon painting, rare liturgical books from museum collections, valuable salaries of icons and icon painting.

Near the old exhibits, which have both artistic value and historical, are the works of modern Omsk masters. P. Minin, S. Patrakhin, G. Pavlov and I. Samoilova in different years were participants in the design of the temple space. Thanks to the exhibition opened in the museum, it became possible to get acquainted with the work of these wonderful artists working in various genres of art.

Interactive classes are organized for young visitors to the museum. The “Corner of the Architect” and the “Icon Painter’s Workshop” will help consolidate the knowledge gained at the exhibition.
