"In the light of his light" - a personal exhibition of the artist Gregor Danelyan in the museum. Kovalenko Automatic translate

KRASNODAR. Personal exhibition, which opened on March 30 at the Museum. Kovalenko artist Gregor Danelyan, presented to the public under the title "In the Light of His Light." So the author named one of the series of his works written in recent years. When creating paintings combined in this series, Gregor Danelyan used a special technique of multilayer painting (glaze), which was used by masters of the Renaissance.

This technique was later popular with Dutch artists. Thanks to this complex pictorial technique, the paintings written by Gregor Danelyan have a unique effect - they are filled with light, as if appearing through paints from the surface of the canvas. Another series of works - “Vivaldi”, just created by the artist, also entered the exhibition.

It was not by chance that he named this series in honor of the famous composer. Working on the works presented in this collection, Gregor Danelyan complicated the task set for himself. He decided to create paintings, not only glowing from the inside, but also sounding musically. In total, more than thirty works are participating in the exhibition.

The artist brought his works from Belarus, where he lives and works for the past two decades. Gregor Danelyan considers several countries to be relatives at once - Georgia, where he was born in Tbilisi, Armenia, where he graduated from the Art and Theater Institute in Yerevan, Belarus, where the artist lives today.

Gregor Danelyan was still a student to participate in exhibitions since 1972, and since 1988, the artist presented his work at forty personal exhibitions. Each of the periods of his work, the artist notes with a certain style, saying that the choice of style is determined by age, with which the human soul changes.

The exhibition awaits guests on April 17th.
