YAROSLAVL. The exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of the Yaroslavl Branch is waiting for art connoisseurs until March 6 to meet two artists whose personal exhibitions opened almost simultaneously. The first exhibition that opened on February 10 was the exposition of the works of Vladimir Zolotaykin, an artist from Rostov the Great.
The opening of this exhibition was a wonderful gift for the Rostov master of graphics - this day Vladimir Kuzmich celebrated his seventieth anniversary. Congratulations at the opening of the anniversary exposition spoke not only about the artist’s professional achievements, but about his rare human qualities.
Each of the colleagues congratulating Vladimir Kuzmich on the anniversary celebrated his kindness, modesty and amazing performance. Specializing in graphics, Vladimir Zolotaykin performed more than three hundred etchings. Inspecting the exposition, which contains more than forty works by the artist, each of the guests of the exhibition noted how amazingly the master’s graphics were meticulously executed.
The next day, museum visitors got acquainted with the works of Fyodor Kunitsyn, who lives and works in Uglich. For him, the opened exhibition also became a jubilee - on February 20, Fyodor Ivanovich will turn 65 years old. In Yaroslavl, the artist presents a variety of areas of his work. The exhibition includes landscapes, illustrations of literary works, compositions on religious subjects.
The canvases placed in the exposition have such deep plots filled with interesting details that visitors study each of the works for a long time. In the works, Fyodor Kunitsyn uses all available means - from avant-garde painting techniques to realistic details.
