A new exhibition of Moscow artist Tatyana Breslavtseva "Ugra Secret" has opened in Surgut Automatic translate

SURGUT. Moscow with the capital of the Ugra region is shared by almost 3,000 km. However, this distance did not become an obstacle to the long-term cooperation of the capital’s painter Tatyana Breslavtseva with the Art Museum of Surgut. The friendship of Tatyana Georgievna with the staff of the Surgut Museum was started in 1999, when the artist showed an exhibition of her graphics, taking part in the museum project “Change”.

More than fifteen years have passed since the first meeting of Surgut spectators with the work of Tatyana Breslavtseva. During this time, the museum held four large-scale projects with the participation of the artist. Five personal exhibitions of Tatyana Georgievna took place, there were meetings and correspondence. Last year, Surgut celebrated its anniversary - the city turned 420 years old.

The artist could not ignore such a solid date. Having visited Surgut, as part of the anniversary celebrations, she presented the City with her works, united in the collection “Graphic Portrait of Surgut”. This collection, consisting of 66 sheets of graphics, has expanded the museum collection, where today there are 120 works by Tatyana Breslavtseva.

These days, Ugra again celebrates anniversaries. 85 years have passed since the formation of the Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, and the city of Surgut celebrates its fiftieth anniversary. Over the years, the working shift camp Surgut has turned into a modern city rich in cultural traditions. On this occasion, a new exhibition was opened at the Art Museum on August 28, presented under the name "Ugra Secret".

All the works included in the exhibition were made by Tatyana Georgievna specially in honor of the anniversaries. "Ugra Secret" united fifty works performed by the artist in a unique author’s technique. The new collection of Tatyana Breslavtseva is available to the public until September 27th.
