For the anniversary of Barnaul in the art museum of the Altai Territory opened the exhibition "Hometown of the line" Automatic translate
BARNAUL. This year Barnaul celebrates its anniversary - the city marks 285 years. The exhibition “Hometown of the Line” was dedicated to this holiday in the art museum. Until October 27th, museum visitors will be able to see unique works with views of Barnaul
Museum staff selected over fifty paintings from the museum fund to create an exhibition. Some of them did not leave the museum depository before, so even regular visitors to the museum will see them for the first time. From the works of artists, viewers will be able to see how the face of Barnaul has changed over the course of a century.
The earliest of the works presented in the exhibition were created at the beginning of the last century. Recent work dates are made by our contemporaries - they date back to 2013. Among the authors are folk and honored artists who depicted on corners the corners of their native city, its architectural monuments.
Many of the buildings now remain only in the paintings, in reality they no longer exist. Here you can see October Square at a time when it was surrounded by small wooden buildings, the stages of construction of Leninsky Prospekt. Visitors are interested in paintings painted by Barnaul artists in the war and post-war years.
Among the works of contemporary artists, there are also works with images of lost buildings. The artist L. Tsesyulevich displayed the Imperial Hotel in his painting in 2005. Now this hotel in Barnaul does not exist. By the way, interesting events will be held as part of the exhibition. One of them will be a meeting with the artist L. Tsesyulevich.
At the official opening of the exhibition, scheduled for September 4th, there will be a presentation of the catalog dedicated to Barnaul artists.
