Winter exhibition at the Kondraty Belov Museum - Siberian landscapes Automatic translate
OMSK. The Kondraty Belov Museum has opened an exhibition of works by members of the creative association "Drawing Mondays." Art lovers hold exhibitions of their works twice a year - in winter and autumn. The winter exhibition traditionally starts on January 13th.
The date was not chosen by chance - in 1988, the first exhibition of artists took place, continuing the tradition of drawing evenings, which at the beginning of the last century were an adornment of the life of a provincial city, filled it with special meaning. These evenings were a notable event in the cultural life of Omsk.
The opened exhibition is already the seventeenth in a row. The exposition includes works with images of Siberian landscapes. If last year’s exhibition was dedicated to portraits, then this year its organizers decided to introduce visitors to the diverse landscapes of the Siberian land. The exhibition features approximately forty works by thirteen authors.
Among them are landscapes painted in the summer, when Siberian nature pleases the inhabitants of the region with lushly blossoming greenery. The harsh winter landscapes were not ignored, and next to them were delicate watercolors painted in spring and autumn. Each visitor to the exhibition will be able to find that picture that will resonate in his soul.
The Kondraty Belov Museum, despite its relatively young age, successfully copes with the task of preserving historical and cultural monuments for posterity. A significant part of the work of the Siberian artist, which left a significant mark in art, is stored in the old mansion.
Returned with the help of the Belov Museum “Drawing Mondays” made the cultural life of the city even richer. You can see the work of people in love with art until the end of January.
