The unique art of the Armenian artist A. Avetyan at an exhibition in Rostov Automatic translate
ROSTOV-ON-DON. Only until November 28th, the inhabitants of Rostov-on-Don received a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the work of Anatoly Avetyan - the only master in the world working in unusual, previously unknown equipment. The Honored Artist of Armenia brought to Rostov the exhibition “Gifts of Armenia”. Her exposition is made up of works made in the technique, called “relief painting on metal”.
At the opening of the exhibition, the exhibition of which was located in the hall of the Museum of Russian-Armenian friendship, the artist said that this technique was the result of his creative experiments. For many years Avetyan was known as an artist and sculptor, later he began to engage in coinage. As a result, there was a desire to combine metal work with painting.
The experiment was successful, although there are enough difficulties in their implementation. It is not easy to combine volumetric form with color so that they are combined with each other. The master’s works presented at the exhibition are a combination of coinage, collage and painting. These are surprisingly warm and emotionally rich works of art, which make visitors to the exhibition linger on each artist’s work for a long time.
Anatoly Avetyan brought his works to Rostov for the first time. Most of the work included in the exposition was performed relatively recently. Their stories are devoted to female beauty, abundance, fertility. The artist intentionally did not include heroic plots in the exhibition’s exposition, wishing that a bright and pleasant image of Armenia appeared before the Rostovites.
Avetyan’s works can now be seen in galleries in many countries. His works are in private collections of famous personalities, and solo exhibitions have been successful in any country where the masters have been invited.
