Despite the fact that by birth Viktor Ivanov is a metropolitan, the painter also received his art education in Moscow, having graduated from art school there and then the Surikov Institute, all the works he wrote for his long life are dedicated to the Ryazan village.

Viktor Ivanov was familiar with many heroes of his works from early childhood - they are residents of ancient villages located in the Spassky region, where the artist’s mother is from. To this day, Viktor Ivanovich lives every summer in the village of Isady, spending days creating new paintings.

The permanent exhibition of the gallery contains about two hundred works of Viktor Ivanov, among which you can see all the genres of painting and graphics - landscapes and portraits, genre paintings and interiors. Here are the most significant works made by the artist.

The exposition of the opening exhibition became a creative report of the artist, which included in it his work completed over the past two years. Even the venerable age of the painter does not become an obstacle to his work - the exhibition includes more than thirty works of different genres.

At the opening of the exhibition, Viktor Ivanov heard many warm words addressed to him from close friends and colleagues. You can see the artist’s new works until November 7th.
