STAVROPOL. The Museum of Fine Arts opened an exhibition "Father’s House", dedicated to City Day. Even the names of the canvases housed in the exhibition halls remind us that many painters were the main topics of their work for family and children, motherhood and the father’s house.

Zoya Belaya, director of the museum, said at the opening of the exhibition that by creating such expositions, museum staff provide museum visitors with the opportunity to get acquainted with works exhibited extremely rarely, since the museum’s area is limited.

Over the past twenty years, it has become a tradition that every day of the city in the Museum of Fine Arts is marked by a new exhibition. Museum staff always find a way to make it original, relevant to the theme of a city holiday.

This year, the scale of the exhibition is also associated with the anniversary - the Stavropol branch of the Union of Artists turned 75 years old. The work of many artists, thanks to which this organization appeared in the early sixties, became the decoration of the opening holiday exhibition.
