Pictures of A. V. Kharitonov, similar to beadwork, in the Bakhrushin Museum Automatic translate
MOSCOW. Visiting the Chaliapin Hall of the Museum. Bakhrushin, connoisseurs of painting will be able to see the exhibition recently opened by the artist Alexander Kharitonov, available on February 20. This man is called not only a landscape painter with a unique talent, a master of graphic quality jewelry, but also a great romantic who created his own world.
Experimenting on different styles of painting, Alexander Kharitonov developed his own technique. She turned the ordinary landscapes of central Russia written by him into unique paintings, similar to the finest pearl embroidery. In search of his own style, the artist abandoned the trends of fashion - abstract art, socialist realism and other currents of pictorial art.
Kharitonov said that the main purpose of the painter is to turn everything ordinary that surrounds us every day into something extraordinary. In the painted paintings, the artist managed to get the viewer to stop looking at the usual landscape. In the works of Kharitonov there are pearl-golden-pink tones in which connoisseurs will recognize the tonality of ancient church sewing.
A painter, attending an art school, in which he was forced to leave his studies due to life circumstances, managed to get only the initial skills of the artist’s profession. He continued his education, visiting the Tretyakov Gallery, where he stood for hours in front of Savrasov’s paintings and ancient Russian paintings.
Alexander Vasilievich at the end of his life wrote about his works that the basis of his work was the influence of Byzantine and Old Russian icons, as well as church embroidery made with beads, pearls and precious stones. Each day of the artist’s life was completely devoted to creativity - in the morning he worked in the open air, then worked on the canvases at home, and devoted evenings to drawing.
