A new gallery exhibition, which displays 36 abstract works by five artists, opened in Chelyabinsk on October 25th.

Andrei Grimberg made a trip to the island of Bali, where he visited the village of Ubud, well-known to everyone who is interested in the art of Indonesia, an exotic country for Russians, famous for the fact that many talented people of creative professions live and work there. This small village is considered the center of the arts of the Indonesian province of Bali.

Each of the artists whose work was included in the exhibition, called "This abstract world beyond the equator", is well known not only in Indonesia. The works of the artist Gendro Neman, whose first exhibition took place back in 1983, are in the permanent exhibition of the Novica Art Gallery, located in Amsterdam.

The young abstract artist Musi is actively collaborating with the same gallery, from which almost all of the work is immediately bought by her employees. Sharmat is not just an artist, he is also the creator of the workshop where his followers’ school works. Artists of the Sharmat workshop became suppliers of ethnic painting in the galleries of the West.

Vardano, whose work is in the collections of many private galleries around the world, is most peculiar in his work. His works with a fine line connect surrealism and abstraction. Pandit Yoga’s works adorn the collections of many famous galleries in America and European countries.

An exhibition of Indonesian artists will wait for visitors until early December.
