Plein air based on paintings by Konstantin Korovin at the Tretyakov Gallery Automatic translate
On the Crimean wave, the leadership of the Tretyakov Gallery decided to organize "field work" based on paintings by Konstantin Korovin. In the courtyard of the museum on July 19, numerous still lifes were composed, repeating the work of the great artist. The project was supported by many young artists who aspired not only to develop their work, but also to remind the public about the importance of continuity in art.
Zhanna Rybka, Marina Zvyagintseva and Masha Yves created their art objects in the courtyard and helped the plein air participants with the selection of materials (paints, brushes). All materials for drawing were provided by the museum, so even those who last painted while in kindergarten and just by the order of fate turned out to be near the museum that day were able to take part in such an extraordinary event.
Several more similar meetings are planned. Thanks to which visitors to the Tretyakov Gallery can not only contemplate the beautiful, but create it!
