Description of the painting "Flowers in a Vase" by Claude Monet
Claude Monet is not only an artist, not only a great genius, but also the founder of an entire direction of painting. With his light hand Impressionism emerged and became popular. The master was born in Paris, then moved with his family to Le Havre. His childhood and youth spent in constant contact with nature. Monet studied poorly, but was an excellent drawer. His first caricature works decorated the window of the only shop selling paintings. It should be noted that these sketches were a great success with the locals.
Claude Monet was distinguished by his unique ability to see colors. This is due to an operation in 1912 to remove the lens. After this, the master’s vision is somewhat distorted. White and light shades he saw with an ultraviolet glow. However, the peculiarity did not spoil the artist’s paintings. They acquired new colors.
In 1888, still possessing the usual perception of color for a healthy person, Claude Monet completed a still life "Flowers in a vase". The canvas is executed in the manner characteristic of the master. Big strokes alternate with the drawing of small details.
In the center of the composition there are thin branches and several buds. The flower is very fragile and tender. A vase with a narrow neck made of glass is selected in tune with it. The background is quite restrained, the dominant shade of gray-blue. However, thanks to the contrast, the canvas does not look dull.

The picture has something of this: leaf, nature, flora, tree, flower, wood, decoration, garden, water, growth, artistic, vintage.
Perhaps it’s a painting of a bouquet of flowers in a glass vase with green leaves and pink.
