Совсем ребенком увидела эту картину в музее г. Очакова 20 лет назад. Я все эти годы помнила эту картину и свое ощущение света и радости. В оригинале картина излучает теплое спокойствие и чистоту.

The composition directs the eye towards the horizon, where a hazy sky meets the sea. The light is diffused and soft, contributing to an overall atmosphere of tranquility. A distant cliff face rises from the waters edge on the left side of the painting, its form softened by atmospheric perspective. Several rocky outcrops jut out from the water closer to the viewer, adding depth and visual interest.
The artist’s use of color is restrained; a palette of muted browns, grays, blues, and whites prevails. This limited range reinforces the feeling of stillness and emphasizes the natural light conditions. The clarity of the water is particularly striking, rendered with meticulous detail that highlights its transparency and reflects the sky above.
Subtly, the painting evokes themes of solitude and contemplation. The absence of human figures beyond the implied presence of the fisherman fosters a sense of isolation. The stillness of the boat and the calm waters suggest a moment suspended in time. There is an underlying feeling of melancholy, perhaps stemming from the vastness of the landscape and the smallness of human endeavors within it. The scene seems to invite introspection, prompting consideration of humanity’s relationship with nature and the passage of time.
