Igor Dryomin: Exhibition "... And My Soul" at the Dresden Art Gallery Automatic translate
From July 5 to 12, 2016, the Dresden Art Gallery (Moscow, Khrustalny per., 1, Gostiny Dvor) will host the exhibition “… AND MY SOUL”, representing the “Theater of Luminous Paintings” by Vitaly Ermolaev (Latvia) and “Energy Painting” by Natalya Astafieva (Russia).
Vitaly Ermolaev is a member of the Union of Catholic Artists of Italy, a member of the Union of Architects of Latvia, the founder of the Art Rezidense Inner Light Theater of Luminous Paintings, which is a unique and popular tourist attraction in the resort town of Jurmala (Latvia).
Luminous works are written using the artist’s new painting technology, which he called INNER LIGHT (INTERNAL LIGHT). Its essence is in combining the old way of painting with wax compositions with modern reflective paints (the technology was protected by a patent and trademark in 2002).
The most interesting part of the INNER LIGHT photo-painting begins where the viewing of an ordinary picture ends. What did the artist want to tell us? What secrets and secrets are “hidden” in his works? These secrets and secrets Vitaly Ermolaev reveals a play of light and color. Thus, the picture becomes the protagonist of this theatrical performance. The plots or their elements that change when the lighting changes in the picture, the music that accompanies the ongoing action - all this is very similar to the performance, where the audience is partners in the creative process. That is why Vitaly Ermolaev called his work "Theater of luminous paintings."
“Energy painting” by Natalia Astafieva is a certain flow of energy expressed in a system of signs using natural materials and affecting the human body to one degree or another, depending on the degree of readiness for perception. The body receives completely silent signals from this or that energy center, therefore certain color combinations have a beneficial effect on mental, mental and physical health.
Sometimes, in order to prevent the development of certain diseases, it is enough to restore the natural flow of energy in the body in a timely manner, which, in fact, is facilitated by the influence of art.
It is noteworthy that both artists, and Vitaly Ermolaev, and Natalya Astafieva, do not try to reflect in their paintings what all contemporary art so often shouts about today: "Society hurts." On the contrary, they are constantly looking for ways to purify it through harmonization of the soul and body, the material and spiritual components of man.
