Cocteau would have thought * Automatic translate
So, the exhibition ended, which means it’s time to talk a little about how it was. First of all, thanks to everyone who came!… and I came to the very discovery, or rather, I rushed off, taking leave, from work, in order to be in time. At the opening ceremony, as always, everyone thanked everyone, and of course, first of all, of course, Marianne… She, in turn, told the audience that this exhibition was based not only on her long-standing love for Cocteau’s work, but also on a number of photographs previously made by one of her very talented students - Anastasia Guseva. The first time I saw her work was on another photo project, in which I also took part as a model. And then for me the discovery of photography as a narrative art happened. I looked in turn at her work, and the same story unfolded in my head! “I thought it was very cool, and that I had never had one with photographs before.” Since then, I have been following Nastya’s work and peering closely at them, because it seems to me that I definitely have contact with her work…
This time, the works of Nastya opened the exhibition, and the photos with me hung exactly opposite. Marianna and I took a very long time (about a year) to film the echo of an unusual creature from a kaleidoscope of dreams in the film “Poet’s Blood”, and we did something. I must say that on the day of shooting everything came together and even more: I went with some special mood and I can’t say that I planned to give an answer to the image that we chose. On the contrary, I carried an idea that could possibly have been traced to that unearthly creature… Namely: to obscure the observer’s gaze with the luxuries of its location. According to the film, the hero looks into the keyhole and for a long time watches how a theatrical creature (demon) rests on the couch…
When at the exhibition I saw what happened in the end (before the exhibition I did not see the works included in the exposition), I was overwhelmed with such emotions that I ran to pretend that I was looking at other people’s works and was spinning in a round dance with visitors to the salon, however, reality and it was with whom to make friends!
Firstly, we came to the exhibition with Nestor Pilyavsky 1 , this time his photo portraits were not at the exhibition, but his mere presence, usually, causes interest in us. Therefore, I am very glad that he came to support me and, of course, to evaluate the work. Of course, one should ask his opinion about the exhibition, he himself, he is a strong critic, but I know something did come up to him at the exhibition. Immediately scatter the myth, these are not photos with me ^ o ^
Secondly, it shocked me that Steve Lasmin 2 came to the exhibition! (*. *) Accompanied by Konstantin Von Schwartz 3 and Andrei Yukio 4, I met them immediately at the entrance, which took me by surprise a lot. Honestly, I was at a loss and immediately invited everyone to hug quickly ^ o ^ My way to deal with CONSTANCE! (It doesn’t help.) Steve joyfully and at the same time calmly supported my initiative, but Kostya tried to kick back, but Steve pulled him, and we were all like that ^ __ ^ By the way, I saw Steve for the first time, like Kostya, and Andrey and previously participated in the project as a model, so we saw each other. The guys came to Lavrushinsky quite a long time before the official start and participated in the hang-up, as I understand it, and therefore, by the time we appeared with Nestor, we were tired of waiting for the start.
Thirdly, I became bolder and hooked on chatting with another photographer, with whom I never really managed to communicate for some reason. Only in dreams. Vlad Orlov 5 just looked like a needle! His restrained style was overshadowed only by Marianne, unsurpassed in her skill in dressing. It is impossible to compare, but both of them were like the Lord and the Lady of this event. I envied and thawed. Although, he himself was well dressed ^ _ ~ after all, Nestor helped me choose the bow for the exhibition, and his taste is a completely different school of skill.
… I started spinning so much that I had little understanding of what was happening, so I moved to another room and there for a long time examined Vlad’s works first, and then Eva discussed the work of another participant. Unfortunately, I don’t remember whose work it was with the “shell”, but this time they captured my interest the most. During the exhibition, Eva even managed to sketch my portrait and, subsequently, put it in her community. By the way, this is not the first time I have served as a model for Eva’s drawings, which is incredibly happy ^ _ ^ such a family continuity from mother to daughter.
Finally, Milav came to the exhibition. He was a little late, but for some reason, by the time we met there, it turned out that he had already looked at everything%) like that!? Everyone already looked, and after an hour, I did not even see my second portrait in the portrait in the portrait… By the way, here it is.
To summarize, I’ll say that even friends of friends came to the exhibition, thanks to Arseny Somnilovsky 6 ! In particular, I met the gallant Sergey, who turned out, among other things, to be an excellent conversationalist. How to find him in VK? And Dmitry made this shot so that you could better understand what condition I was in there. Still, exhibitions with my participation do not happen every day. Thanks to Marianna Kornilova and TSHR! ;).
