Flanking this central triad are two additional figures. To the left stands a young girl adorned with a headband, observing the interaction with a quiet attentiveness. On the right, another male figure, distinguished by his elaborate robes and halo, gazes towards the infant with an expression of reverence or contemplation. All five individuals are encircled by halos, signifying their sanctity.
The artist’s use of light is significant. A strong source illuminates the figures from the left, casting deep shadows that accentuate the textures of their garments and the contours of their faces.
