This celestial element introduces a stark contrast to the terrestrial feel of the surrounding space.
The right side of the work is characterized by a more aggressive application of color and texture. A network of red lines, resembling capillaries or veins, overlays a field of blue-gray tones. The effect is unsettling, suggesting an internal landscape – perhaps biological or psychological – exposed and vulnerable. Vertical black brushstrokes interrupt this pattern, creating a sense of division and constraint.
The overall impression is one of disjunction and layered meaning. The juxtaposition of the ethereal oval with the visceral network of red lines implies a tension between the cosmic and the corporeal, the spiritual and the physical.
