The gravel probably didnt crunch as much
In that ancient park, many years
Ago... Everything was the same!
And yet, nothing can quench
The thirst to know the past.
What proud old women!
Their power is evident in their gaze.
They knew no flaws,
Their days were a treasure trove of the past,
Where experience was given as a luxurious grain.
And this surveyor was meticulous.
Theres winter in the photograph.
The children looked at the lens differently,
Or perhaps they looked at the world.
In that scene, they defined themselves,
With light, toys, father, mother.
Strong male faces are captured.
Memories of the scenes linger.
The priests – stately and important –
Look remarkably easygoing.
Its well known that life isnt just hardship;
Theres also honey and milk in it.
The military officers, whose epaulettes
Are quite striking. Where is all this now?
Far away, it seems.
This album presents a blueprint of the lineage,
A network of various veins and lines.
Youve blurred your current collection of fantasies
With a detailed picture of the past.
What phase of destiny are you in?
And have you lived a life without purpose?
They are gone. Some – tragically.
War, execution, etc.
The past looms like a tower,
Yet seems illusory, as if it were yesterday.
Its within you. In the throbbing pulse,
In the frequencies of your chosen path,
In consciousness – life: hardly just a game.
