Мне захотелось пройтись по этой площади до арки, все рассмотреть и вернуться к первому зданию справа. Подняться на второй этаж, выйти на балкон и продолжить любоваться этой красотой. И главное – ни души вокруг!

The artist employed a muted palette, primarily utilizing shades of gray, brown, and blue wash to create a sense of atmospheric perspective. Buildings further away appear paler and less defined, contributing to the illusion of distance. The application of ink lines is particularly notable; they delineate architectural details with precision while also conveying texture and shadow. Note how the hatching becomes denser in areas intended to suggest deeper shade or more substantial massing.
The domed building on the left commands attention due to its scale and intricate detailing, including a complex arrangement of windows and spires. The triumphal arch serves as a visual anchor, framing the view further down the avenue. Its ornate carvings and sculptural elements are rendered with considerable care. On the right, the classical building exhibits symmetry and restrained elegance, characterized by columns, pilasters, and a balcony.
The avenue itself appears wide and relatively empty, suggesting a sense of grandeur and perhaps even solitude. The ground plane is indicated through subtle tonal variations, creating a feeling of unevenness and contributing to the overall realism of the scene.
Subtly embedded within the composition are indications of human presence – faint figures can be discerned in the distance, adding a touch of life to the otherwise static environment. These small details contribute to the sense that this is not merely an architectural study but rather a depiction of a lived-in urban space. The handwritten inscription at the bottom provides contextual information, further grounding the image within a specific time and place. Overall, the drawing conveys a feeling of quiet dignity and meticulous observation, characteristic of topographical representations from the period.
