Господа, проверьте пожалуйста написание фамилии художника, скорее всего это австрийский художник Йозеф Лауэр, а не Лаунер. С уважением, Марина

The arrangement appears to be loosely gathered, suggesting a naturalistic origin rather than a formal display. Light falls unevenly across the scene, highlighting certain petals and leaves while leaving others in shadow. This creates depth and emphasizes the three-dimensionality of the objects depicted. The color palette is predominantly warm – pinks, greens, and browns – with the butterfly providing a contrasting splash of orange.
Beyond the straightforward depiction of botanical elements, the work hints at deeper symbolic meanings. Flowers, particularly roses, are frequently associated with beauty, love, and transience. The inclusion of strawberries, symbols of fertility and abundance, adds another layer to this interpretation. The presence of the butterfly, often representing transformation and the soul, introduces a sense of etherealness and suggests a connection between the earthly realm of flowers and something beyond.
The dark background serves not only as a visual foil for the brightly colored flora but also contributes to an atmosphere of quiet contemplation. It isolates the subject matter, drawing the viewer’s attention solely to the delicate beauty of the arrangement and prompting reflection on themes of life, death, and renewal. The signature in the lower right corner is discreetly placed, acknowledging the artists presence without disrupting the overall harmony of the scene.
