The peculiarity of the work and creativity of the talented artist Alexei Savrasov lay in the fact that you can look at each of his paintings for a long time. And it wasn’t even that people were just admiring them or looking for hidden meaning in them. It’s just that the artist made his paintings rich in detail. At first, no one would be able to see even half of what the artist depicted in the picture. The same is true of his work Yard.
Description of Alexei Savrasov’s painting "Yard. Winter."
Winter. After a long viewing, one can see many interesting, unusual, and smile-inducing details, but none of them will fall out of the big picture. Nor will any of the details found scatter the plot of the work. Everything happens on the contrary - from each found detail the impression of the art is enhanced.
It should be noted that Savrasov, as an artist and as a Russian man, is well versed and very much in love with the province. In order to portray a picture as believably as possible, he studied for a long time the most ordinary and unremarkable places. Therefore, his work went from a panoramic preference for "intimate" images of ordinary courtyards and corners. Savrasov came to this for a very long time, and the painting Yard. Winter was painted by a mature artist who knows what he is doing.
In his work, a seemingly small courtyard is covered by a large layer of snow, as are the roofs of the neighboring buildings and houses. On the little patch roam the domesticated birds, who have come here for a reason, but for the fresh grain scattered by the landlady. And looking at this idyllic picture is a huge, truly rustic window at the time of the story. A doghouse is visible in the distance, and the entire courtyard area is enclosed by a fence. And that’s just what you can see on a first cursory inspection of this artwork.

Глядя на работы чувствуешь радость и грусть по уходящему. А из окон нашей квартиры видно толь ко серые стены.
Мне картина понравилось! Тем, что художник хотел передать чуства уюта, спокойствие....
