Leonid Vedenov was born in 1956 in Moscow. In 1979, he graduated with honors from MVTU im. Bauman, later received also a law degree. After graduation, he served in the Space Defense Forces. Currently serving in the ranks of the national guard of the Russian Federation.

A man whose profession is related to military service does not tolerate verbosity and rarely expresses his feelings and emotions in words. But if a sincere love for the Motherland, for the family, for traditions lives in the soul, and there is a spiritual need to express this, then often a passion for photography arises - a universal language similar to painting, music…

Leonid Vedenov says about his hobby: “… Photography is the best way for me to relax my soul, chat with nature, with friends, get a boost of good mood and see new horizons of life… Through the lens…”

Among the author’s works are landscapes, portraits, reportage photographs. He prefers to perform a full cycle of photographs from the picture to the final design of the finished work. L. Vedenov began to show interest in photography from childhood, helping his amateur father. Since 2004, he has been working with high-resolution digital SLR cameras. Prefers Canon cameras. The main working camera is the Canon EOS 1Dx-Mark II.

Photographs of the author were published in specialized photo magazines, as well as presented at thematic exhibitions, the author repeatedly became the laureate of international photo exhibitions, his works are stored in private collections.

According to the author, in the art of photography there is something mystical, incomprehensible at the level of modern science. Any work besides mechanics carries something individual, that which the author of a picture lays down. He puts his soul in a metaphysical sense. If the work is hard, a complicated formulation, then more energy will be expended than just clicking mechanically. This energy is stuck in frames…

The work of the photo artist is distinguished by the elaboration of details, an emphasis on the nuances in their systemic relationship.
